WHY JOIN US?
Here at the Profit Protection Future Forum, we're committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2000, we've been supporting our community members in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by monetary size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts in educating others about our shared industry.
The Profit Protection Future Forum's Biannual conferences are organised to encourage collaboration and develop best practice within the retail loss prevention industry. The Steering Committee develops the conference agenda around activities in the industry and invites experts to share their recommendations.
With the Profit Protection Future Forum's mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for sharing knowledge and collaboration between retailers. Our podcast 'Re-Tales: Conversations with Profit Protection, sees us speaking with retail LP professionals and subject matter experts about all things profit protection.
With our organisation's mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Our webinars are something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact on our industry.
The 2022 Australia and New Zealand Retail Crime Study is the second overview produced by the Profit Protection Future Forum into the ANZ retail crime landscape.
The first study (published in 2019) provided needed regionally relevant intelligence into hot products, popular offending methods, and sector-level estimates of loss types.
This second study not only continues this focus and considers changes during the intervening period. As everyone is aware, the last four years have witnessed considerable and unpredictable changes. COVID-19 disruptions, staff shortages, strained supply chains, and greater online transaction volumes have all shaped the opportunity surface for the commission of criminal activity, be it organised retail crime groups or impulsive amateurs.
