PROFIT PROTECTION FUTURE FORUM
Collaborating to benefit the Australasian Retail LP Industry
The Profit Protection Future Forum was formed in 2015 and is led by Australasian retailers who wanted to encourage collaboration and best practice in loss prevention. To this day the PPFF is the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia focused purely on helping Loss Prevention teams.
From the outset, the PPFF had a goal to position itself differently. Retail LP leaders donated their time towards the goal of encouraging industry networking and collaboration because shoplifters will steal from EVERY store, regardless of whether it’s a supermarket, pharmacy or apparel store. While retailers may compete with each other for shopper dollars, they are united in wanting to fight the dishonest customers.
Our Steering Committee
The Profit Protection Future Forum Steering Committee consists of loss prevention leaders who donate their time and expertise towards Australia and New Zealand's only not-for-profit loss prevention Forum with a shared goal of promoting collaboration and partnership in the LP industry.
Making A Difference
The Profit Protection Future Forum's biannual conferences are organised to encourage collaboration and develop best practice within the LP industry. The Forum steering committee develops the conference agenda around activities in the industry and invites experts to share their recommendations.
In 2020, we are organising the forum in three cities- Sydney on 30th July, Melbourne on 4th August and Auckland on 6th August.
With the Profit Protection Future Forum's mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for sharing knowledge and collaboration between retailers. Our podcast Re-Tales: Conversations with Profit Protection, sees us speaking with retail LP professionals and subject experts about all things profit protection.
We are delighted to announce that we have been recognised in the Outstanding Security Performance Awards as the winner of the Outstanding Security Partnership Award. The Outstanding Security Performance Awards (OSPAs) recognise and reward companies and individuals across the security sector.
The OSPAs are designed to be both independent and inclusive, providing an opportunity for outstanding performers, whether buyers or suppliers to be recognised and their success to be celebrated.
As the only not-for-profit organisation in Australia and New Zealand focused purely on helping Loss Prevention teams, we could not have won this award without the support of our members. Thank you for your ongoing support and collaboration.
